Protein Truffles
  • Ingredients
    1/2 cup raw cashew, sunflower or almond butter
    3 tbsp. pure maple syrup or raw honey
    pinch sea or Himalayan salt
    2/3 cup Kaizen® NaturalsTM Whey Protein Decadent Chocolate or Vanilla Bean (you can also use Kaizen® NaturalsTM Vegan Protein for vegan truffles)

    Coatings (optional)

      crushed cacao nibs
      crushed hemp hearts
      sesame seeds
      cocoa powder
      chia seeds
      shredded coconut
      mini organic dark chocolate chips
      finely chopped nuts
  • Recipe

    Makes 6 truffles

    1. Add all ingredients (except the optional coatings) into a mixing bowl and combine until well-blended. If the mixture seems too wet, add quick oats or more protein powder.
    2. Scoop approximately 1 ½ tbsp. of the mixture into your hands and roll into truffle balls.
    3. Roll in desired coatings and place on a lined cookie sheet. Place in fridge for 1 hour.
    4. Store truffles in lined glass or plastic container and place in refrigerator.
