Kristy found her passion for fitness early on in life, having spent her entire childhood and adolescence training as a dancer. For over 18 years, Kristy trained competitively in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary and has won various scholarships and awards while spending multiple summers in Los Angeles and New York, working to further her abilities. Upon closing that chapter in her life, Kristy began experimenting with various exercise regimes and workout styles and found an instant passion in the fitness world. She knew that this was the path that she wanted to continue exploring and sharing with others.
Over the past 3 years, Kristy has worked to obtain certifications such as TRX Group Suspension instructor, Personal Trainer Certification (PTS) and most recently, she has trained with Saikel Indoor Cycling Studio to become a spin instructor.
Kristy's main drive in this industry comes from a love of working with people and inspiring them to find their own passion for health, wellness, and fitness and helping to show them what an incredible impact it can have on their lives.
In her spare time, Kristy loves trying as many new and challenging workouts as she can, spending time with her husband and dog, traveling the world, and finding healthy ways to cook delicious food.
Favourite Way to Sweat
Kristy's favourite ways to workout are forever changing. Her interests come in the form of simply working out and feeling great and luckily there are so many ways to do that. A few of her absolute favourites are solo strength sessions at the gym, group fitness classes (Spin, TRX, & bootcamps), and in the summer getting outside to run, hike, or play tennis.
Favourite Way to Recover Post-Workout
Kristy's go-to post-workout recovery plan involves having a quick shake with Kaizen Naturals® Whey Isolate mixed with Kaizen Naturals® L-Glutamine to help with my muscle recovery. After that, she makes sure to drink plenty of water and have a healthy snack or meal to re-fuel.
Kristy believes that her greatest accomplishment has simply been finding this lifestyle and being able to help impart that same feeling of accomplishment upon others. Each year she set small goals for herself, achieving each one instills a feeling of accomplishment – but ultimately it’s not just about what she does for herself, but what she can do to help others.

To Kristy, living your best life means working hard, but also playing hard. She is not one to shy away from hard work to accomplish things or to get certain places in life, but she also believes that enjoying everything that happens along the way is one of the most important things we need to do in life. Kristy works hard to chase dreams, and accomplish big goals, but she also wants to live the life she has been given to the best of her ability. That means taking time to enjoy the things that make her happy.
