]]>Gursharon is a certified trainer, coach, and martial artist. Growing up as an athlete, Gursharon gained a lot of confidence from sport, that she otherwise did not have. Gursharon has been training in martial arts for the past 15 years, having fallen in love with Taekwondo as a teenager. After achieving her black belt, she also dabbled in kickboxing, grappling, and then settled on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, competing regularly for 6 years now.
Gursharon has come to realize the importance of knowing how to take care of her health. Martial arts, and her experience in strength training, have given her the skills to do just that. As an athlete, Gursharon knows that importance of strength, conditioning, nutrition, and recovery. And she wants to share those skills with other young women, young athletes, and anyone looking to become the strongest version of themselves.
Gursharon's favourite way to sweat is with a few rounds of BJJ rolls.
Gursharon's post-workout routine involves a big, nutritious meal and a salt bath.
Gursharon considers her greatest accomplishment to be getting her purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
To Gursharon, living your best life means doing what you love with the people you love, everyday.

Quitting the 9-5 corporate world after many years to pursue a freelance life of fitness full-time, she believes that there is no set timeline for life, and everyone has a unique path to finding their passion. Still on a journey of personal self-discovery as she navigates life with grief, fitness, and a new career path, her dream is to make an impact and help others find themselves and navigate their way through life with acceptance, light, and positivity.

In her free time, you’ll find her in the kitchen creating new recipes for her blog and Instagram! She also coaches learn to skate programs part time, and loves to see the excitement the kids get when they learn a new skill or pass a level. Cristina's goal with her Instagram and Blog is to create a community that supports and uplifts one another to reach their goals. She wants to empower young girls to go after their goals, learn to fuel their body properly, and never be afraid to be themselves!
Cristina loves a mix of HIIT and resistance training. She loves the feeling she gets after a good HIIT session where she really pushes herself to her limits. F45 classes are Cristina's go-to workouts for a quick sweaty sesh!
Cristina's post-workout routine involves a smoothie or smoothie bowl using Kaizen Naturals® Vegan Protein Vanilla Bean.
One of Cristina's favourite accomplishments in sports was medalling at the BC Winter Games in figure skating!
