Get Vulnerable, Be Inspired

Get Vulnerable, Be Inspired

It can be argued one of the most valuable assets on your journey to greatness is the company you keep. Motivation Expert, Tony Robbins said, “People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed, and the more they find a way to succeed. Similarly, when someone is failing, the tendency is to get on a downward spiral that can even become a self-fulfilling prophecy.”

Here are five people we find crazy inspiring in the world of health and fitness, people who are dedicated to the journey, the burn, the momentum:

1. Jamie Oliver

Celebrity Chef, Jamie Oliver, first rose to fame in 1999 as the host of The Naked Chef. He has since opened restaurants, published cookbooks and notably founded The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. We find him an inspiration because of his desire to teach children proper food education and his fight to tackle obesity. We love his quest for healthful cooking habits and his desire to change future generations.

2. Deepak Chopra

A sage on all things mindful, Deepak is inspirational in his spreading of knowledge from the benefits of meditation to how to balance the microbiome of your gut. His holistic approach to health is refreshing in a busy world and his 21-Day Meditation Challenges are game changers.

3. Dr. John Berardi

Founder of Precision Nutrition, John Berardi is not only about as real as it gets, he’s Canadian. Cool, eh? His roster of more than 200,000 success stories includes clients from Canadian Olympians to UFC fighters and everyone in-between, in search of better health. His coaching and education programs have helped more than 200,000 people reach their fitness goals.

4. Gretchen Rubin

Author of The Happiness Project, Happiness Guru, Rubin doles out bite-sized ways to make life more enjoyable. Her latest book, Better Than Before, looks at how our behaviours correlate with our successes, specifically which habits makes us better. And, we all want to be better, right? Check out her podcast. Happier with Gretchen Rubin was named one of iTunes’ Best of 2015, and hear how she’s encouraging us to be our happiest, most successful selves.

5. Rich Roll

As forward thinkers in the world of fitness, we at Kaizen Naturals® consider a variety of different ways of eating and approaching a healthier lifestyle. Rich Roll is a vegan, ultra-endurance athlete. He is a testament to the importance of willpower. Author, former sedentary, overweight 40ish ultra-marathoner, has us all fired up about plant-based nutrition; and, ways we can be better.

There’s no excuse for lack of inspiration. So get up, connect with people who want to raise the bar, then do it. Raise it. Be it.
